Students WILL have fluency homework this week.
GENIUS HOUR WEEKLY UPDATE
The students did a fantastic job "pitching" their passion project ideas to the class this past week. On Friday, the students were introduced to the research phase. Students will work on researching their topic to find answers to their essential question over the next couple of weeks. Be sure to ask your child about their topic and essential question!
END OF YEAR ABC COUNTDOWN
The countdown has begun! This week's days are listed below:
Monday: Blue Day - wear blue or WT spirit wear
Tuesday: Career Day - dress up as what you want to be when you grow up
Wednesday: Dance Party Day - mini dance party time in class
Thursday: Exercise Day - wear workout clothes and be ready to work hard today
Friday: Favorite Color Day - wear as much of your favorite color as you can today
MULTIPLICATION MASTERS
FOURTEEN students passed their test with 100% accuracy in 3 minutes or less.
FIVE students passed their test with 100% accuracy in 6 minutes.

Students should be studying their purple vocabulary flashcards this weekend or going to Quizizz
in our Google Classroom to prepare for this quiz.
We will continue with Module 3: A New Home.
We will read Coming to America, as well as analyze the Statue of Liberty. We will focus on creating a timeline to organize the information presented in the book and focus on symbols on the Statue of Liberty.
